Thanks for the hard work on making Director available.
We are looking to migrate from Icinga1 to Icinga2 instance.
I have Icinga2, Icingaweb2, and Director installed and running OK.
The problem I am having is apply rules and/or 'assign where' via Director.
I can create Notification and Timeperiod templates and apply rules, but
struggling with how to 'assign where' as done in a conf file?
I have tried to create a custom field called 'notifcation' and set the value of
'mail' for a host object, but this results in:
object Host ................etc
vars.notification = "mail"
vars.user_groups = "admins-network"
}
How do I achieve the same result through Director as using config files to get
something like this?
'assign where host.vars.notification.mail' or 'assign where host.address'
Everything I've tried so far, icinga2.log shows:
':Checkable 'hostxyz!ping4' does not have any notifications'
