Did you have any roles configured? Check your roles file (/etc/icingaweb2/roles.ini), I had to readd the user used for our monitoring displays. It was fine after that. I reinstalled it afterwards anyway to ensure everything is as clean as possible. You can also migrate your dashboards from the dashboards folder: /etc/icingaweb2/dashboards.
An example. local icingaweb user called "monitor".
