Taking oscp comands, send_nsca on the icinga1 node, and nsca daemon writing to the external command pipe on the icinga2 node. Or any other check result transport mechanism. Though that still requires the objects to exist on the icinga2 node - which obviously points to a migration plan, at least for configs.
