Hi,

We're now migrating from Nagios to Icinga2.
Everything seems to be there, up-n-running :)

One must have feature could not be found anyway (and not on other monitoring solutions neither) is the "End User Service Status". We, as techniciens/engineers, love to see technical information when something isn't working. This helps to fix it quickly.
But for end-user, we're asked to give them an extremely simplified view :
web : all-green, email : all-green, network, printers, ...
In case one service is down, then some more information is to be given like : "server http://foo.example.com is down from 9am to now". Also useful : some history could be displayed so that a user can understand why he couldn't send his email yesterday night for instance.

We used to develop such web app for Nagios (something close to the concept of google's appsstatus) and would like to know if something similar already exist before doing more dev on it.

Regards,
Samuel
