I'm not sure though if you describe two different problems here, with the icinga2 reload time. We are experimenting similar situation when trying to see the hostgroups in icingaWeb2...well, also the serviceGroups... Our Icinga Core is working great, but the problem comes when we try to see the data in IcingaWeb2. The web starts to launch querys to the database, that take forever (hostgroups, servicegroups...)
