Hi, I'm trying to work out how to check an Icinga2 instance is running correctly, from a completely separate cluster which is not connected via any zone relationship.
Basically, I'd like to connect to the instance being monitoring via its API port, and interrogate it for some kind of status information. I've looked around for a plugin which implements this but can't find one. I also can't find any detailed information about the protocol with which to implement the plugin myself. Can someone please point me at any tool which might already exist, or let me know how I might be able to implement this? Thanks, James
