Thank you for your quick reply, Michael.

But I don't get it how to do this.

There are docs on event handlers, which explain in detail when they are
executed, how scripts could look like asEventCommand and further you'll need to
read about sending external commands for acknowledgements and add that to your
event handler script. There's no existing solution to that, just an idea how I
would try solve it.

HI

I am using Icinga2 v2.3.4 with Icingaweb2.

This sounds very stupid, but I need to ask.

Is there a way to acknowledge when it changes to warning or critical state
automatically?

We have some systems that take a very long time to answer pings. Some users
don't want to see warning/critical messages without acknowledgement. Since we
are busy doing other stuff, I thought if we can acknowledge at the time of
state change, it will be great.

Event handlers sending sticky acks via the command pipe.

Kind regards,
Michael

Thanks

Nobuo
