I would think so, but dnsmichi is the authorative head.
We keep a view called "pending backports" from issues being resolved in
master and qualifying for backports.
We will evaluate those issues together in our weekly review meetings,
similar to new issues, those with feedback, etc. That flow ensures that
all involved icinga2 developers are aware of issues being moved around.
