HI,

I am trying to set up Icinga2 using CentOS 6.5. I would like to hear your
suggestions for doing the following:

  1. I would like to execute some scripts/programs at local servers. After end
of the script, I would like to send the result to Icinga2 server. So this is
"passive check" in a way. I know I can do this on Icinga2 server using
icinga2.cmd. But how should I do this using remote servers and sending the
result to the Icinga2?
  2. After a new server is build, I would like to add this new server to the
Icinga2 configuration. The server is built using kick start and puppet. I would
like to setup without manual intervention.

I would be appreciative if you can give me any suggestions.

Thanks

Nobuo
