Hi,
I don't have an official answer, but I can confirm that I am running
* Icinga 2 IDO and Icinga Web 1 with MariaDB 5.5.33
* Icinga 1 IDO and Icinga Web 1 with MariaDB 10.0.13
Since most Linux distribution have switched to MariaDB, anything else
would be a surprise (but of course you never know).
