I thought of that as well, my initial reason for not doing that as I am thinking this is more of a community project, hopefully bigger than just myself. I may in the future but figured I would give it some time to grow a little.
I understand the API can and will change but I was worried about performance issues when using status.dat in the cluster check. My status.dat file is approaching 1 million lines, and I don't want to parse that every 5 minutes and at this point I was unsure how else to get the required information. Looking at the monitoring plugins cluster_check it looks like it uses the status file. I am all for abstracting this to not use the API but unless someone can think of a better way or is running a similar setup, I will stick with the API for this case for the time being. > On Mar 23, 2014, at 6:14 PM, "Alexander Wirt" <formo...@formorer.de> wrote: > >> On Sun, 23 Mar 2014, Jones, Matt wrote: >> >> I am open to suggestions and I agree.
