Hello. I've been following the step by step installation guide of Icinga2 (http://docs.icinga.org/icinga2/snapshot/) and I'm stuck on "2.5 Setting up Icinga 2 User Interfaces".
I've skipped "2.5.1 Setting up Icinga Classic UI" and entered directly into "2.5.2 Setting up Icinga Web" because we I've taken the decision of installing icinga-web because we want to test the new version, thus I've skipped "2.5.1 Setting up Icinga Classic UI" (is this correct?). # apt-get install icinga-web During the installation, there're several questions that need to be answered: * Use external orders with Icinga: no * Apache servers configured for Icinga: apache2 I guess the above answers are correct… At this point, there's a new question: do you want to configure the database for icinga-idoutils using dbconfig-common? 1) If I answer yes: * Database type used for icinga-idoutils: mysql * Password database administrator: (I've used the root password) * Application password MySQL icinga-idoutils: (I've tried generating a new one and using the "icinga" MySQL user password from a previous step) As a result I'm getting this error: mysql said: ERROR 1061 (42000) at line 1409: Duplicate key name 'systemcommands_i_id_idx' 2) If I answer no: Actually I haven't deeply explored this option. Would you recommend it? In that case, I'd need some guidance! Thanks in advance!
