This is interesting. When I setup the configuration (as I posted in the OP) and tested it, it passed the syntax check. But when I ran it, the Web GUI shows something odd. I'm simply checking the load on a FreeBSD firewall (NRPE is installed and running). In the GUI on the 'Status Information' on the Service Status page I get this message: execvpe() failed.: No such file or directory When I look at the Host configuration, under 'Host check command' I get this: check_check_nrpe (see attached for more detail) This makes no sense at all. Why is there a second 'check' in the host check command? Shouldn't that be 'check_load'?
