It’s my understanding that IBM’s implementation of z/OS Unix Systems Services is Posix. There are programs , STCs in particular that are integrated into USS as well as z/OS. To me z/OS is a hybrid of sorts using both. I don’t think one can only look at z/OS or USS. That’s just my opinion.
