In Emulated Mode ExSel does not work. It turns out there are two setup modes for the terminal "on-line" which is entered by holding "space" down at switch-on.
Now its set to "native mode" it works just fine. However on the other terminal I can't see how to get into off-line setup mode to change the settings.
