Good afternoon everyone, We are actively pursuing Pervasive Encryption with our mainframe z14 machines. My question is related to performance. If anyone out there has been down this path, do they have real world metrics to share? It has been suggested that we could expect to see about five percent growth in CPU activity, and other folks have suggested that any CPU increase would be transparent. I will probably lean towards the five percent number, just to feel more confident.
Has anyone seen an impact on SYNCSORT with ZPSAVER? I fully expect to do my own before/after comparisons, and if anyone can share any bumps in the road that they experienced, that would be great. Then I can focus on the potential difficulties/challenges.
