I'm interested in utilizing SSI Function codes 16 (data set open) and 17 (data set close) but I'm not able to find any information on how to use these. In looking at the IBM z/OS 2.4 publication on the SSI these are not even included in the list of 'allowed' function codes.
Can anyone point me to where I can find out more about how to use these function codes in my subsystem? Thank you Lionel B.
