Possibly not of great interest but I found it curious that the IDCAMS ALLOCATE command does not support PDSE V2. Also LIKE does not copy the V2 attribute. Neither limitation appears to be explicitly mentioned and no relief in the z/OS 2.4 pubs that came online :-(
