Hi Lionel, Sorry for the confusion. Using an HTML for the master table of contents brings the expectation that everything will work using just the browser. If you want to find and open a particular PDF, use the "1. Open Me First..." and, for the most part, the Adobe plug-in for any browser will work and you can read the PDF from the browser window.
However, if you want to search, people should use the stand-alone free Adobe Acrobat application. Open the Adobe Reader, then use it to open the ".pdx" file. I was surprised to hear that the .pdx file could be used with any browser. I would have never guessed it would recognize it. I hope this helps.
