Hello,

I installed the USI VTA to our customer. The tape drives are attached by a single shared channel path.

I know BARR ESCON channel's EMIF dose not support, so those tape drives can only be onlined in one LPAR at one point.

I tried path online with one LPAR (MIF ID:3 partition), but the channel path issued PATH NOT VALIDATED. Why was this message issued? If there is a solutions, could you please advice.
