CSVLLIX1 works only for LLA-managed libraries. I was still looking for the more comprehensive CSVFETCH exit, which was added in z/OS 2.2. Perhaps we should consider mentioning CSVFETCH in the MVS Installation Exits book, with a pointer to the book where CSVFETCH is documented.
