Hahaha! I heard a similar, but false story. ( https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/polished-off/ ) Apparently in a hospital in our country, some patients died during a specific shift. Same story, cleaners/janitors unplugged life supporting equipment to do their cleaning with vacuum cleaners and polishers and thus 'polished off the patients'.
