I have developed a S/390 (and S/370) operating system called PDOS, source code here:
https://sourceforge.net/p/pdos/gitcode/ci/master/tree/s370/pdos.c It works fine under Hercules, but I was wondering if anyone wanted to try it out on real hardware. It IPLs from a 3390 (or I can put it on other disk types) and can talk to a 3270 (it will also talk to 3215 or an EBCDIC ANSI terminal). I have a secondary question. I would like to have a PC emulate an EBCDIC ANSI terminal so that micro-emacs (included on the PDOS disk) can operate. Does anyone have the ability to connect the PC to the mainframe in such a manner? Currently to run micro-emacs I need to use a modified Hercules and telnet. Thanks.
