I wrote a script that filters the index.html into comands that create a family of symbolic links "organiz[ing] the manuals into directories, according to the layout on the index.html." The original files are not renamed so the cross-manual links continue to work. Mostly. It's an ad-hoc parser entirely dependent on the precise format of index.html.
