Microsoft will outwit you.  I once sent a co-worker a JCL excerpt with:
    "...BLKSIZE=6144,..."
He wrote back, "What's this 'BLKSIZEa44'?"

There was *no* quoted-printable header.  But Exchange was configured
to use Word as a viewer.
