Basically, I always go to work in the dark. But there is much less traffic at 06:00. But the sun is relevant to me only when it is shining in my eyes. I firmly believe that if I was supposed to be in the Texas sun, we wouldn't have made air conditioned houses. As a plus, the company I work for has "summer hours" where you can come in or stay late Monday- Thursday and leave at noon on Friday. This is subject to your immediate manager's approval and the work needs of the company. E.g. I can't leave at noon if there is a computer problem going on.
