That fails as well.. The problem seems to be in the dataset selection process. The dataset filter is PBREX.PRJW.** and there are GDG bases under that catalog entry If I do 3.4 on that I get this PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE05 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE05.G0571V00 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE06 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE06.G0571V00 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE07 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE07.G0572V00 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE08 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE08.G0571V00 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE09 PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE09.G0571V00
Now if I try a filter of PBREX.PRJW.ATPGAE05.** it doesn't abend, but does give RC(4) with nothing selected. I've noticed that the datasets are on tape, so ask myself whether this is even valid. Trying to back up tape datasets to dummy and then deleting them seems particularly weird. If it is the DUMP, the dataset could have exotic or erroneous characteristics.
