That's a thought, but what a *major* PITA. Most of our commands are split across multiple lines with /* xxx */ comments interspersed. It will be very time consuming to edit them all down to a single line each. However, once that's done, I agree we should be able to issue them via TSO HSEND or MODIFY operator command.
As I said in my response to Dave Gibney, I'm truly astonished this problem exists in the first place and has been around for so long!
