Nothing in z/OS can help you with that. You cannot have a base GDG where the individual generations have unique timestamps in whatever interval you choose. Sri solution is just for the BASE, not for the individual generations. In short - you want something like a timestamp in your dataset name, forget about GDG. Use Automation Software, REXX, system symbolics, etc. and then use RYO method to create a dataset name format. Even DB2 Archive logs simply do not bother with GDG. I seldom use GDG, but then there I don't bother with the timespan between generations.
