Moving an SCLM module to SYS1.LINKLIB is one thing. I thought 
that the OP was talking about an ISV product. IMO, that would 
be quite another matter entirely. And moving the module is 
probably ok if it's part of z/OS.

But if it is part of a third-party product, I would be reluctant to 
move it to SYS1.LINKLIB. If you want a copy of it in SYS1.LINKLIB, 
that's ok, but I would want it to stay in the product's load library 
as well.

SMP/E allows this. You can have an LMOD that goes to two target 
libraries. John Eells described how to do that. Otherwise, when you 
install a new ServerPac, you could end up losing the load module.
