Interesting about NOEXECOPS. Not sure what I was trying to accomplish there.

I assure you this works 100% of the time in testing, and at most customers, so 
the NOEXECOPS is at least generally not hurting us.

For C++ applications, the following values are not allowed for compilation:

  * NOEXECOPS | EXECOPS
  * NOREDIR | REDIR
  * NOARGPARSE | ARGPARSE

Obviously, there are many ways to specify run time options; it is not totally 
clear to me, which ways take precedence ...
