X-posted to RACF-L and IBM-MAIN (assuming my ISP will talk to IBM-MAIN, which it has been reluctant to do recently).
Are the RACF callable services like ck_access() and so forth usable from C? The manual is silent on the subject, kind of treating anything other than PL/X as a strange anomaly. The documentation seems remarkably thin (or am I missing something?). "The VCON can be resolved by link-editing the control section (CSECT) with the stub routines provided as part of MVS's system authorization facility (SAF). There is a stub for each service." Um, names? Library names? Has anyone done this? Any gotchas? Anyone find any declarations in C for the routines? Environment is C++, POSIX(ON), RENT, 31-bit, z/OS V1R13 and above. Thanks, Charles ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
