We have a job which creates "tape" files in TMM (Tape Mount Management) via SMS redirection. The data class assigned to the output dataset has SMS tailored compression turned on. I would like to see how much that compression is costing in CPU time by running the job without compression. Will TRTCH=NOCOMP override the data class setting, or do I need to create a special data class with no compression just for this test?
