Exactly. And it does change: when I worked at UofW, we had the "bug room", a 
terminal room where we systems guys all worked together. Every couple of years, 
someone would say "You guys have offices-why don't you work there and we'll use 
this room for something else?" and we all said "No way, we're more productive 
being able to say "Hey, what am I doing wrong here..." and the like.

Nowadays, with broadband, IM, etc., I would argue that I'm more productive 
working from home here by far. But some people will find they want/need the 
separation: "Now I'm in the office working"/"Now I'm home, not working". Since 
I work for a California company, it *is* hard to turn it off at night...
