​VPS == "Virtual Private Server", just for those of us who immediately
thought "VTAM Printer Support"????​ Amazon seems to have are really cheap
starter for only $5/month which can be upgraded to a fairly heavy weight
one for $80/month. But the ones that I looked at all have a "maximum
included transfer limit" before you starting getting "overage" charges for
transferring more data (over the IP connection). Costs appear to be "all
over the place". Rackspace and LiquidWeb seem to be, relatively, expensive.
I don't have any actually experience, but you could do a search on "vps
comparison" to get some reviews. One I found is at:
