Yes, that is what I thought initial also, but I compiled and linked the program 
so that the load module is the same in that respect and confirmed with an 
AMBLIST on each module. The thing that got the program running was that coding 
change to bypass the header record on the file (not pass it to the assembler 
program on the call). Does not make sense to me…
