Hi Folks,
Please note that on CBT File 220, on the UPDATES page only, the
execs SDUMPG and SDUMPE will display storage above the bar, in 64-bit
storage. I'm sorry I forgot to post these execs, about a half year ago,
when they were extended from the original SDUMP exec.
I think these execs only work for z/OS 2.1 and 2.2, because IBM
enhanced the STORAGE function in REXX to go above the bar, at those
levels. Not sure they work for 1.13, unless maybe a PTF allows them
now. I don't know.
This way you can have a chance to look at what is there, above
31-bit storage. At least you can look at what your own address space
can get to. Very important, if you program, to have eyes looking at the
data which is actually in the system.
For 31-bit storage, I use the LOOK program on File 264 of the CBT
collection. LOOK has much more functionality, and does an SRB (if
APF-authorized) to go across address spaces too.
All the best of everything to everyone.
Sam
