   It brought back so many memories. I started in 1969 on a 360/30 with
8k.  Yes  8k.  2k for supervisor, leaving 6k for processing in BG
(background) and possibly F1 (foreground). We actually got lots of work
done. Reading in 10-20,000 cards containing cobol statements was a chore
with lots of jams and keypunch repro's. 7trk tape drives leading finally to
9trk, WOW !!!.   2311 disks at first then 3330's, then 3350's and finally
3380's and 3390's much later. 360/30 to a 360/40 to a 370/145 to a 4381 (2
of them) to a 3083 and on and on. I started at 17 and found it all very
exciting back then.   I recently gave up looking for work in Florida after
6 months so I decided to retire, but I do miss the game.
