​For myself, I like to find IEEE RFCs and try to conform to them. In
particular, in this case, I think it would be very helpful if IBM would
create a CSV GENERATE and CSV PARSE verbs akin to the existent JSON/XML
GENERATE/PARSE verbs. The RFC that I try to conform to is:
