That is correct. RFPREFIX is used to build the name of the RELFILE data sets, the input. DSPREFIX is used to build the name of the SMPTLIB data sets, the output. They are separate and do not interact.
RECEIVE reads relative file from RFPREFIX.RFDSNPFX.FMID.Fn and places it in DSPREFIX.FMID.Fn.
