I'd make a new PROC with COND=(8,LT) for subsequent steps. https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSLTBW_2.1.0/com.ibm.zos.v2r1.ie ab600/xexcond.htm In a message dated 8/26/2016 1:56:18 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
We've just upgraded to Cobol V5R1 and in the new versión appears a new warning message "IGYCB7300-W The code from lines xxxx in program 'xxxxxx' can never be executed and was therefore discarded". This message doesn't appear in V4R2, now the compilation step finishs with RC=04 and the job cancels. Does exist any option to change the RC with this warning from RC=04 to RC=00?. It would be a workaround meanwhile we correct all the programs affected. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
