We are considering inactivating SYSLOG and just running with
OPERLOG. For our long-term archiving, we are considering using a
tweaked version of SYS1.SAMPLIB(IEAMDBLG) to produce daily/weekly
extracts in an extended SYSLOG format.
Has anyone done this and what were your experiences with that environment.
