That is the clue: 
SMF30JNM is described as:
JES job identifier. Jobs scheduled by the APPC/MVS transaction scheduler (ASCH) 
start with an “A” followed by a seven-digit number.

Annnnnn jobs are no JES2 jobs, but ASCH jobs and do not follow JES2 rules, but 
follow APPC rules.
