Ed, Yup, that's what doesn't make sense. I don't have SoftwareXcel or Resource but it doesn't make sense to me that I should have to pay extra to submit a dump to IBM for support.
Now, that being said, I got a private message from a friendly IBM support person (to loosely paraphrase Timothy Sipples...) who pointed me to a resource that showed me how I can FTP a dump to them, so thank you to y'all for listening to my rant, and especially to the IBM person who pointed me in the right direction.
