For generic tape analysis. You could download and install TAPETOOL from IBM.
For DASD, as suggested by others, you can find things on the CBTTAPE.ORG website. Or you can use ISMF Naviquest, or RMM Report writer. This is option G on the ISMF panel. Note: To use Option G, you will need to include those ISPF functions into your TSO Session. They are not automatically set up. Same would be true for Naviquest. For Naviquest (part of ISMF): https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSLTBW_2.2.0/com.ibm.zos.v2r2.idas200/runbat.htm?lang=en For Tapetools (no Charge): ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/storage/tapetool/vtslogrp.txt Access the Tape Analysis Tools (http://w3.rmss.tucson.ibm.com/software/tapetools.htm) or (External tools: ftp://index.storsys.ibm.com/tapetool) > -----Original Message----- > From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Mainframe Mainframe > Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2016 12:03 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: Space Calculation on z/OS sytems > > Hello Lizette, > We dont have any third party products for now.
