Jake, Are you asking how to know what level of service is on particular product? If so, you will need to find out how each vendor handles that. For IBM - RSU, for CA CARS, and so on. And then there are those cases where you want to know on specific module/src. Again, ask your vendor.
Then you need to query your zones to see what is there. There is no magic.
