Now if IBM would only provide a tool that converts either the PL/X
record layouts or the Assembler DSECTs for all authorized record and
area layouts to COBOL, PL1, C/C++ and any other major language.  COBOL
2002 and later now accepts underscores in a data name and if IBM
implemented the 2002 standard and beyond hex, bit, true binary and all
of the IEEE floating point data types (including the decimal floating
point implemented in all z series and pushed by Mike Cowlishaw for
business processing) it should be straight forward.
