I recently stumbled across this IBM Research tool at ftp://public.dhe.ibm.com/s390/zos/tools/zinsight/
It looks very cool, but it's from 2011, and doesn't seem to work with a current z/OS trace file. Well, probably the input format is wrong, and there's no obvious doc on what it should look like, though there is a very large sample input file. I'd guess the output of IPCS SYSTRACE needs to be post-processed to make the input. Has anyone played with this tool? Is there a newer version or further doc available? Of course I'm not expecting support for a Research project, but it would be nice to know if I'm wasting my time trying to make it work.
