Others gave you good replies including DFSORT/ICETOOL method and how to calculate it. Charles Mills gave a good reply too. I think I have posted a sample for that using ICETOOL for getting SMF record 89 on IBM-MAIN. The same for handling SMFxxTME. I can repost them here again if you wish.
