AFAIR we were using standard DS/HD diskettes, formatted using 3174 utility.
So, try regular "1,2MB" diskettes.
IMHO "2,4MB" diskette type never existed, it was only the drive and the
format
Note, 3,5" had DD, HD and ED type.
